Terms of Service

General Info

  • I work best if a full body reference with flat colors is provided, but I can also work from a combination of finished artworks of the same character.

  • If you don't have a set design I'm more than happy to work on one for you, but this process generally takes much longer. NOTE: This requires multiple reference images and a very detailed written description if the design is worked from scratch.

  • I reserve the right to decline anything I am uncomfortable drawing, or anything that I believe is outside of my current skill to draw.

Process & Payment

  • Commission Requested: This is where we'll go over details of what you'd like me to draw and agree on the pricing. This part may take longer if discussing character design or a more complicated project. If there is a specific date the commission must be finished by, such as art intended as a gift, please let me know at this stage! (I am not available for strict deadlines ATM.)

  • Sketch: This is the best time to ask for pose and composition changes. You can also request an upgrade, such as from lineart to flat colors or shading.

  • Payment via Paypal Invoice: Once the sketch (and any upgrades) has been finalized and you confirm that you are ready to pay, I will send out an invoice. Payment is expected in full at this time.

  • Updates: I'll send you WIPs at different stages - final lines, flats, etc. Small changes can be made during these times if requested. I'll also notify you if there are any delays that would slow things down.

  • The time it takes me to complete a commission varies, as I work full-time and am currently the main caretaker of my mother as her health declines. I will do my best to finish within a month of the commission being confirmed. You will be alerted if something IRL will push this back.

Terms & Conditions

  • Commissioned artwork is for personal use only. Do not profit off of my art in any way (reselling it, making merchandise, commercial use, turning it into an NFT, advertising, etc), or claim it as your own.

  • I retain the rights to my art and may post WIPs and final images to my social media (DeviantArt, Tumblr, Instagram, Ko-fi, etc). You may of course ask that I not share WIPs, or post final images until a certain date (such as if the commission was bought as a gift).

  • Do not alter or remove my signature. Signatures include: Mask/#5984 (Flight Rising), HazelHexagon, and a shortened version of Hazel silhouetted by an implied hexagon shape.

  • If you post my art somewhere, please credit me/link back to one of my socials.

All prices are listed in US dollars for a single character/subject.Sketch = cleaned up lines, can either be fully b/w or have colored lines with a paler color filling in the rest; has more of a sketchy pencil look.Lines = smoother lines, more details, can either be fully b/w or have colored lines with a paler color filling in the rest; crisp edges.Flat Colors = base character colors, minimal highlights for shiny surfaces.Background can be transparent, single color, or multiple colors with faded texture.Want me to be extra detailed on the lineart, like lots of hair? +$20If something you're interested in is not listed, or if you're interested in a particular style I've done - like half body, chibi, or sketch page - ask me about it! :)
